The area has many accessible services and is charming and green like the most typical Tuscan countryside. Residenza Strozzi is a perfect short term rental solution to live and explore Florence and Tuscany.
Here you live in a green resort, far away from the bustle of the city with its humming motorbikes and honking cars. While the location is far from disturbance, it is only a short bus ride into the city. There are two bus stops in walking distance. A 10 minutes bus ride will take you into the city centre.
Stroll to the 'Ponte a Mensola' quarter, which is only 300 m. away, where you will find a grocery, a breakfast bar, restaurants, a tobacconist, a newsagent, a hairdresser and one of the two bus stops. A very large supermarket, a bank, a post office and a pharmacy are about 1 km away.
The Cathedral, Palazzo Vecchio, all museums are within easy reach, as are the nearby small towns of Fiesole and Settignano.

Wonderful Tuscan Setting

The four of us really enjoyed our week in the Casa del Pozzo. It was everything the listing showed and more. It was clean, well-equipped and comfortable. Guido was very helpful. We enjoyed cooking on the BBQ and dining outdoors on the patio. It was only a ten minute walk from the apartment to the bus stop. Buses ran every 15 minutes for the short ride into downtown Florence. However, as another reviewer noted, the walk back from the bus to the apartment was all uphill and steep at points. The location is wonderful for touring both Florence and those marvelous Tuscan hill towns such as Siena. We recommend this apartment without any reservations.
Sophisticated and Authentic Apartment in Firenze

This apartment is sophisticated and beautifully furnished in an authentic Tuscan village. It is an excellent choice for a family with children, and it has a quant courtyard providing an area to play outside. There are lovely hiking tracks in the surrounding hills that are definitely worth exploring.
